Art of Rally is coming to Game Pass: 4 Reasons why this is a must have title!

In case you missed the news, Art of Rally will be making its debut on Xbox Game Pass this summer, so not only is it launching onto an entirely new system, existing Game Pass members will be able to jump straight into the action with no additional charges!

1) Unique Art Style

The "Art" in the name isn't just a gimmick, the game is wonderful to look at. When you play Art of Rally, you realise the race for realism leaves all games looking rather samey. This game takes a different approach and it is all the better for it; with the low poly design, Art of Rally creates a more relaxed vibe you can appreciate as you make your way through the world's wonderfully crafted stages.

2) Level of Depth

While the visuals may be simple, you may be in for a surprise if you are expecting something similar from the physics engine. Working underneath the low-poly aesthetic is a pretty hefty physics engine, creating a surprisingly realistic handling model simulating weight distribution, loss of traction and variable terrain characteristics. If you screw up, you even have mechanical damage and repairs to make between rally stages. While Art of Rally doesn't have such a steep learning curve, a lot of time will need to be invested if you plan on setting the fastest times.

3) Plenty of content ...

Art of Rally comes with over 60 recreations of iconic rally cars, spanning from the 60's to the 90's. From the Austin Mini Cooper to the Ford Escort RS Cosworth, if there is a historic rally car you can think of, you can drive its simplified doppelganger here.

Then there are also the environments; you get 5 distinction locations, each with a dozen layouts, customisable weather and free roam variants with hidden collectibles. You can complete rallies, online time trials or trailblaze on your own terms; there are hours of fun to be had!

4) ... And more to come!

The fun for Art of Rally doesn't end here. A whole new environment was announced alongside the Game Pass revelation which brings along 6 unique tracks, 12 configurations and an open world map with collectibles. If that wasn't enough, it brings four new cars along!

If you haven't already done so, check out my impressions of the game. Chances are I'll give it the Xbox port a spin too, so be on the lookout for that in the near future!
