Porsche Super Bowl Advert shows off brand's greatest hits with a Fast & Furious twist

Did you know the last time Porsche created an advert for the Superbowl was back in 1997? For those who think the 90's is still roughly 10 years ago, let me give you a reality check; that was 23 years ago. So if one of the world's most iconic car brands is to return to the world's biggest marketing stage, it has to do it in style, right? Well, Porsche has done just that with their ingenious new campaign.

With this year marking the launch of the new all-electric Porsche Taycan, Porsche's marketing department had to come up with something that would really capture the public's attention, so they went with a plot inspired by one of Hollywood's highest-grossing film franchises, The Fast & Furious. It was not enough to show how capable the Taycan is in dynamic driving scenes, so Porsche brought some more of their toys along. Features range from modern flagships such as the latest 992 Carrera 4S, 911 GT2 RS, 718 Boxster GT4 and 918 Hypercar to classics such as the 917 K Race Car and uh... Diesel Tractor.

Taking place mostly around Stuttgart, the birthplace of Porsche, the video shows a "Ninja" breaking into a Porsche Museum and hijacking the new Taycan on display. Staff at the museum use this as an opportunity to scramble for the other cars on display to hunt him down. What follows is a series of impressive cinematics and action shots that showcase Porsche's automotive hits in the best light possible. Check out the video below!
